Our ten-year record of packing remains near perfect as we continue to ship OMax Ceramics worldwide – "from our hands, to yours".   Our new “Vine” design Before your order is dispatched through our DHL shipper we give personal attention and care to the packaging of your purchase. Here is an outline of our process: 1. Gift tissue wrapped This prevents the ceramic pieces from getting scratched. It also looks good. 2. Bubblewrapped Generous amounts of bubblewrap is wrapped around the ceramic piece and taped. This is the critical step which has provided us with a near perfect shipping record. This was taught to us by a shipping agent ten years ago – the advice continues to be good. The thump sound lets us know that the bubblewrap layer is good. If it fails the "thump" test, additional layers of bubblewrap are added until the order passes the test. 4. Boxed The tested and approved order items are inserted into standard DHL shipping boxes. 5. Generously surrounded by shredded paper or packing "peanuts" Peanuts are put into the box to prevent the ceramic items from bouncing around during the shipping which can result in damage. 6. In the unlikely event that your order is damaged, email us a photo of the damaged piece in the original packaging along with your order number and we will send you a replacement at no charge to you.
